Denise L. Steele, age 58 of Port Charlotte, FL passed away March 3, 2020, after a very long hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born January 26, 1962 Arlington, VA to Clayton and Edna J. Wine. Denise received her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and worked as a Nurse for many years. Denise loved to go to the beach and enjoyed snorkeling. She also like to travel, especially to tropical islands. Denise will be remembered forever as an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. Denise was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Wine. She is survived by her loving husband, Wm. Scott Steele; her children, Heather (Jason) Jacobs, and Shelli Fitzgerald; mother, Edna Wine; her 8 grandchildren, Kaila, Savannah, Mason, Brayden, Logan, Brooklyn, Alexander, and Natalie; and her sister, Vicki (Kenny) Beall.
