Carol Elaine Jackson

Carol E. Jackson, age 85 of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Braddock, PA passed away November 15, 2019. She was born July 25, 1934 in Braddock, PA to Harry and Mary (Lowstetter) Johnson. Carol attended Braddock High School and went on to attend West Penn Hospital School of Nursing. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed crafting, specifically ceramics. Carol was very proud of her grandchildren, whom she spoiled. She was known as a sweet, honest lady with a great sense of humor. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Jane Roderus. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, James Jackson; her son, James (Jean) Jackson; daughter, Susan Corbin; grandchildren, Tyler (Kate) Jackson, Katie (Casey) Corbin-Brents, Jennifer (Andy Montgomery) Corbin, and Rebecca Corbin; great grandchildren, William Jackson and Graham Jackson; sister, Doris Jockers; brother, Harry (Judee) Johnson; and many extended family members and friends. A visitation will take place Monday, November 25, 2019 from 10 to 11:30 am with a service to follow at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home; 2405 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
