Albert Lewis Boyd

Albert Lewis Boyd, Sr, 86, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away December 16, 2017. He was born June 3, 1931 in Joanna, SC to John Henry and Elberta Boyd. He was a twenty year veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He then went on to a career with the South FL Water Management where he retired in 1990 as a Sr Electronics Engineer.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margo Boyd; sons and their wives, Albert L. Jr and Lenyce Boyd and Flint H. and Sharon Boyd; grandchildren, Anthony, Kurt, Madison and Westin. His southern gentleman charm and his striking blue eyes will always be a part of our heart.

The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Friday December 22, 2017 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL with the Rev Bob Carlson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens.
