William J. “Bill” Haley, 82, of Nederland, entered his eternal rest Monday, April 7, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. Bill was born June 23, 1942 to L.J. Haley and Olga Hannah Haley in Port Arthur, TX. He was a longtime resident of Nederland. After more than 40 years with Drago Supply Company, Bill retired as Senior Account Manager.
As an avid outdoorsman, Bill had a great appreciation for God's creation. Whether exploring in the mountains, perched in a deer blind, or riding his Triumph or Harley, he always found joy in being outdoors. With his very own, and often made-up words, phrases, and crazy gestures, Bill could keep anyone laughing, especially his children and grandchildren.
Bill was proceeded in death by his parents, L.J. & Olga Haley; brother, L.J. Haley, Jr. and sister, Beverly Ann Haley.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pam Haley of Nederland; daughters, Ettie Wise and husband, Mike of Crystal Beach and Amber Woodard and husband, Shannon of Lumberton; son, Landon Haley and wife, Cindy of Rosenberg; grandchildren, Beckham Woodard, Londyn Woodard, Hannah Haley, and Hudson Haley.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 10th at 2:00 pm until service begins at 3:00 pm at Grammier-Oberle funeral home in Groves, TX. Officiating will be Doyle Cowart, Jr. and Bill Griggs. Serving as pallbearers will be Landon Haley, Shannon Woodard, Beckham Woodard, Mike Wise, Gary Waldrop, and Brian Hicks.
In lieu of flowers, please use your time, talents, and treasures to bless someone and in true “Mr. Bill style”, make them laugh.
