Wayne A. Bonin

Wayne Bonin, 66, of Bronson passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at Lufkin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on September 22, 1947 to Anthony and Audrey Loncon Bonin. Wayne was a 1965 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School. He served in the United States Army. He was a 38 year member of IBEW Local 479 in Beaumont, Texas. Wayne retired in 2007 to his country home in Bronson, with his wife Jamie. He enjoyed riding his Harley until he could no longer ride. He enjoyed visits with his children and grandchildren.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Bonin and Audrey Loncon Bonin.

He is survived by his wife, Jamie Bonin of Bronson, Texas; son, Bradley Bonin and wife, Shawna; daughters, Brandy Miller, Bridgett Caruso and husband Chad; brothers, Robert Bonin and wife, Stephanie, Leslie Paul Bonin and wife, Cindy; sister, Toni Tomplait and husband, James Jr.; grandchildren, Shana Bonin, Derrick Bonin, Kassandra McLemore, Hunter Priest, Brooke Miller, Bailey Miller, Alexis Stephens, Cameron Caruso and Tyler Caruso and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, January 13, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
