A man of deep faith and devotion, Phi was a pillar of his Catholic parish. He dedicated countless hours to his church, from landscaping the grounds to assisting with various events. His commitment to serving his community was unwavering, marked by his generosity and selflessness. Phi was known for ensuring that everyone around him felt cared for and supported. His giving spirit extended beyond his tithes, as he continually found ways to uplift those in need.
Phi shared over 50 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Thieu Thi Nguyen. Their enduring love was a testament to their bond. Phi's children fondly recall the thoughtful gestures he made for Thieu, brushing her hair every evening and surprising her with beautiful slippers he knew she’d adore. His devotion to her was a reflection of his kind and tender heart.
Phi’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and faith. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Phi is survived by his son Father Greg Tinh Tran; his son Thien Tran; his son Peter Tran; his daughter Binh Tran; his daughter Luong Tran; and his daughter Oanh Tran; his brother Si Van Tran, his sister Khuong Thi Tran, his brother Tong Tran, his brother Dung Tran, his brother Thuong Tran and his brother Loc Tran.
Phi was preceded in death by his wife Thieu Thi Nguyen; his father Hien Tran and his mother Due Thi Le.
Mr Tran leaves behind15 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
A visitation for Phi will be held Wednesday, December 11t - Friday December 13th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
A catholic funeral mass to celebrate the life of Phi Tran will occur Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church, 801 9th Ave, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
Phi will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, TX.
