Peter Jimmie LeBlanc, 78, of Groves, died Sunday, December 24, 2017, at his home, with his loving wife by his side. A native of Port Arthur, Mr. LeBlanc was a retired welder from Ameripol Synpol, formerly known as B. F. Goodrich. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Mr. LeBlanc enjoyed spending time outside, traveling, and in the past, loved to fish and hunt.
Mr. LeBlanc is survived by his wife, and traveling partner of 38 years, Mazie; two sons, Scott (Holly) LeBlanc of Spring, TX and Todd (Carlos) LeBlanc of Atlanta; three daughters, Patti (Cliff) Gay of Port Neches, Pam (T.D.) Foreman of Magnolia, TX, and Nancie (Chris) Baker of Murfreesboro, TN. He also leaves behind, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edia and Clay LeBlanc; siblings, L. J. LeBlanc, Weldon LeBlanc, Betty Jane Frederick, Betty Lou LeBlanc and Lorena "Nanny" LeBlanc, a son, Gerald Lane, and daughter, Peggy Arrington.
A visitation for family and friends will be held tonight, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00pm at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Grammier Oberle Chapel with the interment following in Memory Gardens in Nederland.
