Patricia Verta Collins, age 100, departed from this world on Monday, April 22, 2024. Her passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those who were touched by her warmth, kindness, and boundless spirit.
Patricia is survived by her sons Mike Collins & wife Ann; Pat Collins & wife Sharlene; Thomas Collins; and her daughter Molly Collins Miller & Fiancé Mitch Greenberg; sister Rosalie; son-in-law Ronnie Stepp; grandson Mike Collins & wife Paula; granddaughter Keri Meagher & husband Patrick; grandson Blake Collins & wife Brandi; grandson Matthew Collins; grandson Michael Collins & wife Isabel; grandson Brian Stepp; granddaughter Stacy Judkins & husband Brian; great granddaughter Madison Collins; great grandson Brock Judkins; great grandson Landon Judkins; great granddaughter Lexie Collins; great grandson Conrey Meagher; great granddaughter Ann Meagher; great grandson John Meagher; great granddaughter Mary Meagher; great granddaughter Ellie Collins and her great grandson Dean Collins. Each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Born to Joseph Gabriel Placette and Adella Marie Yentzen, Patricia's life was marked by love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She shared 65 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Ernest Charles Collins, who preceded her in death as well as her cherished daughter Maureen Collins Stepp.
In addition to her roles as a devoted wife and mother, Patricia was a beacon of light in her community. She possessed a remarkable gift for bringing people together with her infectious charm and innate ability to connect. She touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A skilled card player and masterful saleswoman, she could sell a hairbrush to a bald man.
Her passion for crafting, writing, and poetry reflected her vibrant spirit and boundless imagination. An excellent cook in the kitchen, she loved preparing delicious meals and sweet treats for her loved ones.
Patricia's zest for life was evident in her love of dancing, bingo, and a special love for cats.
Above all, Patricia will be remembered for her quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering compassion.
