Maria Reyes

Maria Reyes, age 80, of Port Arthur, Texas died, Wednesday, August 5, 2015, in Port Arthur. Mrs. Reyes is a native of San Juan, Nuevo Leons, Mexico and has resided in Port Arthur for the past 59 years, moving to Port Arthur from San Juan, Texas. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Mrs. Reyes is survived by her husband, Tomas Reyes of Port Arthur; a son, Tomas Reyes, Jr. of Nederland; four daughters, Rachel Reyes of Port Arthur, Letizia Chavez and husband Bo of League City, Berta Clark and husband Steven of Nederland and Normi Horner and husband Brian of Bryan; one brother, Ricardo Guerra of Mexico. Also, Mrs. Reyes is survived by nine grandchildren, Crystal, Beau David, Rickie, Monica, Andy, Brian Jr., Marissa, Morgan and Adriana; and twenty nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. The family of Mrs. Reyes will receive friends on Saturday, August 8, 2015, from 5:00 until 9:00pm at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Christian Wake service and a Celebration of Mrs. Reyes Life will begin at 6:00pm. The interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
