Lucille L. Jones

Lucille was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Jones and Harold Dalby and her son Marvin Clarence Shirley, half brother David Lee, and half sister Teresa Touchet.

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Shirley and his wife Hazel Ruth of Beaumont, Richard Shirley and his wife Ava of Montgomery; daughters, Judy Hebert of Bridge City, Sandra Dies and her husband Joe of Franklin, Donna Guillory and her husband Raymond of Bridge City; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Lucille loved to sing in the church choir and trusted Jesus as a young girl in the Baptist Church in Groves. She was a member of the Lyons Club as well as The Red Hat Society. Lucille loved Red Birds, flowers, Hummingbirds and truly loved all of her grandchildren; Lucille was the first born twin with her late sister Lucillia who she called Sissy. She married Charles Shirley when she was 16 and they had six children together.

A visitation for Lucille will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.
