Linda was born on April 9, 1950in Rach-Gia, Vietnam to Huong Nguyen and Tu Nguyen. She was a housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family and will be missed dearly. Linda loved to cook especially for her family and enjoyed family and religious events and cooking for her friends and family who she loved dearly. She was a member of the Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church in Port Arthur.
Survivors include her husband, John Son Nguyen of Port Arthur; children, Daughter Dung Nguyen and husband, Den; Son Bang Nguyen and wife, Tuyet Anh; Daughter Nga Nguyen and husband, Thanh; Son Tính Nguyen; Daughter Anh Nguyen and husband, Tu; Son Tình Nguyen and wife, Muoi; Son Tu Nguyen all of Port Arthur; brother, Hanh Pham of Port Arthur; twenty-three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and continue on Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020, at Queen of Vietnam Catholic Church in Port Arthur with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
