Kenward Allan “Bull” LeBlanc, 58, of Port Neches, Texas passed away from cancer on January 20, 2015. Ken was born on October 6, 1956 and grew up in Port Acres, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Denise LeBlanc, his children Erin, Kellen, Klete, his daughter-in-law Paige and grandson Keaston. He is also survived by his parents Wilfred and Irene LeBlanc, his brother Frank LeBlanc and wife Sam; sister Lori Anderson and husband Luke. Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Todd Aaron LeBlanc.
He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1975, attended college at East Texas Baptist University on a baseball scholarship and then received an Associates Degree from Lamar University, Port Arthur. Ken began his career in the rubber industry at Ameripol Synpol and was employed for 29 years. He ended his career as a manager at Dentures and Dental Services in Beaumont, Tx.
Ken was a great family man, husband, and loving father. On May 27, 1978, Ken married his high school sweetheart, Denise LeBlanc. The couple have 3 children together and have enjoyed 36 wonderful years of marriage. He had a passion for sports and cooking. He spent his free time coaching baseball for his sons and attending dance recitals for his daughter. He taught CCD at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. He always enjoyed good music, the beach, and visiting Guy Fieri’s recommended Dives. Ken made a lasting impact on those who knew him and was loved by all.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
