Gary P Turner

Gary was born on November 11th, 1950, to the late Samuel Turner & Joyce Smith Turner in San Antonio, Texas.

Gary proudly Ministered, served and dedicated many years of his life to the Gateway Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas. He also worked for Market Basket for 24 years before retirement.

In his spare time, he loved to share the word of God, spend time with his beloved grandchildren, go fishing & attend baseball games.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above as well as by his wife Mrs. Sherry Turner, his granddaughter Olivia Gant & his stepson Stephen Morgan.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kelly Turner of Littleton, Colorado. His stepson Bill Morgan and wife Cathleen from Rowlett, Texas His stepdaughter; Kelli and her husband Coy Thibodeaux from Orange, Texas, and his daughter in law from his late son Stephen Morgan, Tricia Morgan from Beaumont, Texas. His brother Mark & sister D'Ann.

His grandchildren; Hannah Turner, Samantha Gant, Eli Morgan, Jordan Morgan, Coy James Thibodeaux and fiancé Carlee Linder, Maddie Baker and husband Cade and Kaydence Thibodeaux

His great-grandchildren; Wyatt Baker and Stetson Thibodeaux

The family and friends would like to invite all that knew and loved Gary to celebrate his life with them,

on Monday, October the 9th 2023 at Grammier Oberlie Funeral Home located at 4841 39th St. in Port Arthur, Texas 77642.

Private Family Visitation will begin at 8:30 - 9:00am followed by Public Visitation from 9:0-10:30

Services will begin at 10:30. followed by a graveside burial at Greenlawn Cemetary.
