Eddie Joe White, 78, of Port Arthur passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Eddie was born May 20, 1940 in Jasper, Texas to the late Cecil and Dorothy White. Eddie was a Mason for 50 plus years. He was self-employed auto-body works mechanic. He had a love for cigars and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed watching T.V. and at one point Eddie was a dog trainer.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Edward White and Dorothy Maxine Hale and his loving wife, Pauline White. Eddie is survived by his children, Jody White and his wife Diana of Jasper, Texas; Gary White and his wife Kathy of Sheperd, Texas; Cheryl Johnston and husband Roland of Jasper, Texas and Brian Allen and his wife Ruby of Port Arthur, Texas and brother, Larry White and his wife Ann. Left to cherish his memories are his grandchildren, Andrew White and wife Brittney; Lizzy Vasquez and husband Freddy; Brittany Walkoviak and husband Brad; Collin White and wife Kailey; Clayton White and wife Lacey; Brooke White; Angela Clemons and husband Zachary; Cody Platt; Dylan Platt; Bella Allen and Bradley Allen and 13 great-grandchildren plus 1 more due in December.
A gathering of friends and relatives will be Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
