Born to Raymond John and Ruth Mae "Dauphine" Hollander, Dennis was raised with strong values of family, faith, and service. A devout Catholic, he was a member of Saint John Vianney Church in Houston.
Dennis proudly served his country as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army for six years. He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and later attended Lamar University, where he was a proud member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
Above all, Dennis was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was married to Michelle Hollander, and together they built a loving family with their two sons, Sean and Marcus. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his boys—whether it was taking them to concerts, exploring the woods, or building forts and toys. He was a hands-on dad who cherished every moment with his children.
Dennis had a passion for music, especially blues and Elvis. He loved golfing with his friends, attending Thomas Jefferson High School alumni events, and reconnecting with old friends at the Proctor Street drag.
Dennis will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous spirit, and the countless memories he created with those he cherished. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Michelle Hollander; his son Sean Hollander; and his son Marcus Hollander. His legacy lives on through his seven beloved grandchildren: Patricio, Marcelo, Sean Jr., Zane, Quinn, Vaughn, and Mai Hollander.
A graveside service honoring Dennis will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025.
Dennis will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, TX 77619-2859.
