Charlotte is survived by her husband, Cecil Barnes; son Cecil Barnes Jr and his wife Melissa; son Casey Carl Barnes; and son Colston Barnes; sister Christa Glorioso, sister Monika Theriot and sister Becky Prejean - Hagen; granddaughter Chloe Barnes. She was also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Smith on February 16, 2005 and Rosa Smith on September 27, 1997, also, her brother Willard Smith on November 19, 2009.
A gathering of family and friends for Charlotte will be held Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A a funeral service to honor Mrs. Barnes will occur Friday, July 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM. A burial will occur Friday, July 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM. An interment will occur at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
