Barbara E. Keneson

She was a graduate of Fannett High School and was married to Pete Keneson on August 15, 1948. Barbara worked as a secretary for Lone Star Insulators and was a member of Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church. She had a passion for volunteering and a devotion for Christ. Barbara enjoyed playing cards with her friends and spending quality time with her family. In her earlier years Barbara and her late husband, Pete enjoyed spending time on the lake and fishing.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Norwood Stansbury and Ella Quibedeaux Stansbury; husband, Pete Keneson; sister, Helen Roche and brother, Bud Stansbury. She is survived by her children, Danny Keneson and wife Sherry; Mike Keneson and wife Debbie; and daughter, Jenny Coffey and husband Jeff; siblings, Curnie Stansbury and Ben Stansbury. Barbara also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Crystal Burnett, Corey Coffey, Jeremy Coffey and Janay Wanoreck; and eight great grandchildren to cherish her memories.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2018, at St. Therese the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
