Alejandro proudly retired from Enterprise Rentals after 20 years of dedicated service. Throughout his life, he found joy in his passions—he was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying watching the Houston Astro's baseball team and cheering on the Houston Texans football team.
A devout Catholic, Alejandro found purpose and fulfillment in serving others. His generosity extended beyond his immediate family, as he was known for his charitable donations and his caring heart. Above all, Alejandro cherished his family. He was happiest when surrounded by loved ones, and holiday gatherings were especially meaningful to him, creating memories that his family will hold dear.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Alatorre; his children, Jorge Alatorre (Yuri Alatorre), Victor Alatorre, Alejandro Gonzalez Jr. (Karen Gonzalez), Erika Alatorre, and Cynthia Gonzalez; his brother, Estevan Gonzalez; and seven grandchildren who brought him immense joy.
Alejandro was preceded in death by his father, Alejandro Gonzalez, and his mother, Mari Zavaleta.
Alejandro will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of love, faith, and generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have shared in his life.
A visitation for Alejandro Gonzales will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
A catholic funeral mass to celebrate the life of Alejandro Gonzalez will occur Friday, November 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4600 Procter St, Port Arthur, TX.
A graveside service will occur Friday, November 15, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Alejandro will be laid to rest in Green Lawn Memorial Park , Groves, TX.
Serving as pallbearers are Jonathan Valencia, Alejandro Gonzalez. Jorge Alatorre, Victor Alatorre, Juan Patino, Daniel Zepeda, Juan Zavaleta and David Loera.
