He came to Port Alberni from Naicam Saskatchewan when he was 16 and never left. Tom retired from the mill at 57, having a very long retirement doing different things that made him happy. Tommy was devoted to his family and always a gentleman, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. His workshop always had projects to fix, restore or invent for others. He loved going to the Legion and his Island Paradise of Hornby. His kind eyes and charming smile will forever be missed.
Predeceased by his beloved children Rick and Wendy, also wife Wilma, siblings Phylis, Marion and Herman. Tom was interred with his parents Julia and Conrad at Alberni Valley Memorial Gardens.
Survived by his daughter JoAnn (Chris), granddaughter Bryn (Harrison), along with his blended family Cindy (Doug), Shane (Tammy), Donna, Wife Jean, and 6 grandchildren.
Tom never met a meat draw and a cold beer that he didn’t like!
