Pietro Zotich was born in Italy on March 3, 1931 and passed away on November 3, 2022 at the age of 91.
Peter came to Canada in 1957. He settled in Vanderhoof where he lived for approximately 20 years. From there, he moved to Coombs where he kept a small hobby farm. From Coombs, he then moved to Port Alberni. He worked most of his life in the forest industry. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and helping anyone who needed help with any project. He enjoyed entertaining everyone with his accordion, and making and sharing his own wine.
Predeceased by his parents, three brothers and five sisters. Peter is survived by one sister, one brother, numerous nieces and nephews and his partner Muriel.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 14th 11:00 am at Holy Family Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church in Port Alberni.
