Les is predeceased by brother Rab and much loved Vicki and Bambi. He is survived by loving wife Margaret; daughter, Elaine (George) and much loved granddaughter Michelle and nephew Roy.
Les was born in England and immigrated to Canada when he was six years old with his parents and brother. A true believer in exercise, Les swam three times a week, curled most of his life and won, along with his team, the club championship twice. He enjoyed his garden, growing beautiful dahlias, as well as camping fishing and travelling. Les was a fabulous dancer who loved big band music at McMorrans in Victoria and had many good times at the Italian Hall with friends. Les and Marg would have celebrated their 70th wedding Anniversary this year. He lived a happy and healthy life.
“A life well lived and a heart much loved.”
A private family service will be held in the near future.
