George; Georgina Beatrice “Sugar” passed away unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 62 years of age. Georgina was born on July 14, 1949 to George and Christina Amos.
She is predeceased by her parents, brothers: Andrew and Richard Amos and sisters: Loretta Amos and Sharon Talien. Georgina is survived by her son Dale Amos; grandchildren: Kelsey, Kyla and Tanner Amos; brother Victor Amos (Susan); sisters Hilda Nookemis (Ben) and Darlene Amos; aunts Violet George and Regina Martin and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Georgina was a hard worker and spent most of her working life in residential care facilities in both Vancouver and Port Alberni.
Cremation will take place as per her request. Prayers will be offerred at 7:30pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005-6th Ave. A celebration of her life will take on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Hupacasath House of Gathering just off Beaver Creek Rd.
