Donald Butterworth

Predeceased by his previous wife Arleen and brother Gordon. Don is survived by his loving partner Barb; children Lucky (Miki) ,Jack (Ann) , John (Wanita) and Mike; 9 grandchildren, his 2 fur babies Roscoe and Skylar as well as extended family and many friends.A special mention of his coffee buddies Mike, Mark and Fred.

Born in the Alberni Valley, Don moved to Port Hardy in the late 1960s, Don was self employed mainly in the forestry industry. Don loved to fish and loved to give his smoked fish to family and friends. Don moved to Port Alberni in 2011 where he rediscovered the Alberni Inlet. Don also loved to cook and bake it was said that there were a few arguments among Barb's co-workers over his blackberry pies at Shoppers Drug Mart bake sales. Don and Barb travelled extensively in the US southwest to attend Nascar races. The last big trip was to go on an African Safari, a Nile cruise, and then on to Italy.
