Barb is survived by children; Nolan and Tammi; stepsons, Neil and Dallas; the children's father, Neil; parents, Irene and Dave Cyr; siblings Cheryl (Fred), Dale (Carol), Lorraine (Harald) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Barb was born in Pine Falls, Manitoba and moved to the Alberni Valley in 1966. She attended school in the valley and graduated from ADSS. A loving and caring soul, no animal or person in need was ever turned away. She spent many hours at the hockey area supporting with her son, Nolan and was always there for her children.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, January 2, 2010 from the Chapel of Memories, 4005 - 6th Ave. Cremation has taken place.
