Fred passed away peacefully in the West Coast General Hospital on Monday Nov 19 2012 at 85 years of age. He is survived by his loving family; sister Iris Coney, brother-in-law Ted Coney and nieces and nephew. Fred worked in the city of Vancouver as a longshoreman for over 40 years. He was a generous man who enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting up north and traveling to Mexico after he retired. Fred spent every summer with his family driving his boat for hours on end so we could water ski and built the biggest bon fires on the beach. His chair will be empty at the kitchen table this Christmas but memories of his generosity love and teasing boyish nature will forever be in our hearts. Fred also loved to garden and spend time at the legion with his friends eager to take part in the meat draw. In keeping with his wishes there will be no service.
