Willie Earl Strickland

Willie was a man of great character, hardworking and loved to spend time with his family. He absolutely adored his children and grandchildren.

Willie is preceded in death by his father, Willie Strickland; mother, Jacqueline Cooley Jiles, stepfather, James Jiles; and his sister, Sherry Lynn Strickland.

Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Lisa Herrin Strickland; daughters, Megan (Dakota) Saucier, Julia (Michael) Lobre, Jacqueline (Michael Edwards) Strickland, and Mia Strickland; son, Jordan Thomas; grandchildren, Peyton Morgan, Pyper Morgan, Karsyn Hall, Karlee Hall, Talan Saucier, Caleb Lobre, Chloe Lobre, Claire Lobre and Anniston Edwards; brother, Herman Bigner and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services, officiated by Reverend Arthur Duncan, will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 at White Funeral Home in Poplarville at 1:00 pm. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 11:00 am until the service begins.

Interment will follow at New Palestine Cemetery with Darrell Rogers, Dakota Saucier, Michael Edwards, Austin Rogers, Michael Lobre and Herman Bigner assisting as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Stephen Rogers, Talan Saucier, Peyton Morgan, Kaden Rogers, Matt Rogers and Caleb Lobre.
