Thomas "Tom" Lee Davis, age 71, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was a major outdoorsman. Tom is known for his love of joking and seeing a smile on everyone's face. He had a heart of gold and was the father that he didn't have to be.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Davis and his parents, Alvin and Ann Davis.
Tom leaves behind, two brothers; Terry and Tim Davis; one daughter, Ashley "Baby Girl" Davis, one son, Dale Buras Jr.; seven grandchildren, Chesley Buras, Khalia Buras, Hannah Buras, Miles Buras, Tammy Crain, David Matthews, Jr. and Justin Crain, Jr.; one great-grandbaby on the way; six nieces and nephews, Misti Bellais (Rorrie), Dona Davis, Brianna Davis, Austin Davis (Cheyenne), Jake Davis and Benjamin Davis; 10 great nieces and nephews, along with many who honored him as Uncle Tom.
Family and friends are invited to attend Tom's funeral service on Friday, December 13, 2024 at White Home, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi for 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Burial to follow in Byrd Chapel Cemetery, Carriere, Mississippi. Serving as pallbearers are Eric Ramsey, Randy Simmons, Doyle Creel, Wayne Netto, Rip Seal and Austin Ginn. Honorary pallbearers, Austin Clark, Rorrie Bellais, Jake Davis, Austin Davis and Brant Buras.
