Susie Q..my girl! I lay awake most nights thinking of you..missing you. If only i had known...When we met, we both knew we were destined for lifelong friendship. We always had each others back, always been there for each other when life seemed to fail us. You gave me strength that no longer existed in me. You're my battle buddy forever..HOOOAH! Mrs. Bess and Family I was so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. Although I haven't seen Susan for a while she was a good friend and always very loving and respectful, my family loved her visits! I really enjoyed the photos, it was great to see that joyful smile. My prayers and thoughts are with your family, I always remember you guys fondly enjoying passing through Christmas's or summer BBQ's and swimming! Thank you for always being so loving and welcoming.

I remember Susan especially playing with her on the Hornet basketball team.  She was so scrappy and tough--but always with a big smile on her face.

I was very sadded to lose my friend. She was a bundle of joy to be around. Smiling was her greatest asset. Her Love for her family and country was abundant. My life will forever more be a duller place with her not in it. She has always been my friend ever since high school, even though we were not everyday buddies, we will always be friends. My Heart is breaking for family. Miss Bess, Shellie, Cindy, Mike,and Reed I want to tell you that I am her if you need me. I love you all and will be praying for your hearts to heal. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful spirit.

It is always so hard to come up with comforting words at a time like this, especially when it is family.  Know that Susan was loved, she was a good person and we all will miss her so very much. I've only know Susan for one year but in that time she became a very special friend. She always had a hug and a smile for me. My nickname for her was "Sassy" and it fit. She would always brighten my day. Susan will be missed by all who knew her.

Susan was a very special person to us here at Camp Villere Post Headquarters. We are deeply saddened by the news.

Susan was the most genuinely kind, sincere person we have ever known, and to have her as a friend was a rare gift.  Rest in peace Spiller...your many, many friends miss you more than you could ever have imagined.
