Sharon K Mattox

Sharon was born January 10, 1952 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. She was a retired nurse and a member of Ford's Creek Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul V. and Enid R. King; and three sisters, Barbara Ann Mitchell, Pauline Baughman, and Virginia O'Brien.

Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Alan Mattox; one daughter, Jodi (Donald) Dauterive; one stepson, Christopher (Lanae) Mattox; grandchildren, David (Cinthia) Dauterive, Paul Dauterive, Christian Mattox, Lance Mattox, Loraleigh Mattox, Emmett Mattox; two sisters, Cathy (Roy) DeFreese and Geneva Miller.

Funeral services will be held at Ford's Creek Baptist Church (2752 Ford's Creek Road, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until services, Sunday at the church.
