Roy Whitten, a retired master carpenter and horseman, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023 at the age of 79. He was a native of Silver Run, MS.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lisa Clark Whitten; parents Leonard and Irene Dedeaux Whitten; and siblings James Whitten, Beatrice Ladner and Bobby Whitten.
Roy is survived by his children Thomas Whitten, Candace Wertz, Shelby Whitten, Scott Whitten and Brittany (Justin) Ladner; and his grandchildren Amber, Kirsten, Tristan, Kayla and Whitten and his great grandchild, Hayden.
A graveside service for family and closest friends will take place at Hester Cemetery in Perkinston, MS on September 23, 2023 at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
