Mary Nell Hobgood

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday May 23, 2012 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville for Mrs. Mary Nell Hobgood, 70, of Poplarville, Mississippi who died Monday May 21, 2012 at her residence. Brother Ken Roberts will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the Sones Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Nobia Spence Baucum; her first husband, Bennie Lumpkin, Sr.; her second husband, Floyd Hobgood, Jr.; three stepchildren, Robert Granville Lumpkin, Clifton Wayne Lumpkin, and Joyce Lumpkin Tynes.

Survivors include five stepsons, Almond G. Lumpkin, Sr., Bennie Lumpkin, Jr., Floyd Lumpkin, Rickey Hobgood, and Donald Hobgood; one stepdaughter, Reta Lumpkin; four brothers, J.W. Baucum, Travis Baucum, Norman Baucum, and Dwight Baucum; six sisters, Josie Westbrook, Ruth Ann McCardle, Diane Lee, Loretta Nichols, Betty Salter, and Rita Stewart; twenty-one grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday May 23, 2012 at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi 39470.
