A life-long resident of Poplarville, Larry attended Poplarville High School and Pearl River Community College, became an instructor of Sheet Metal Mechanics at MS Gulf Coast, and retired from Ingall’s Shipbuilding after 44 years of service. Larry loved to hunt, fish, garden and spend time with his family and friends.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie Parker Saucier, his grandparents, Barbara and Ad Parker and Feloneise Saucier.
Larry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Judy Deschamp Saucier and his children, Tiffany (Ben) Davis, Cassie (Mitchell) Tribble, and Larry II (April). Larry will also be fondly remembered by his 10 grandchildren, Kristian, Mikayla, Jason, Sarah, Clint, Brittany, Natalie, Zachery, Cadence, and Carson; by his sisters, Donnie (Wordie) Carroll, Mary Helen Ladner, Cathy (Andy) Peterson; his brother Paul (Sue), Robert, and James, his sisters-in-law Lillian Pierocich, Earline Hoda, Elaine Lizana, Lynell Hoda, Patsy (Bobby) Saucier, Marian Deschamp, Belinda (Richard) Liles; and brothers-in-law Curtis (Becky) Deschamp, Lonnie (Cheryl) Deschamp, and Wade (Diane) Deschamp along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at Steephollow Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Gary Killen and Fr. Satish Adhav will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Smith (Old Steephollow) Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday at the church.
