Johnny "Booger" Byron Fairchild

Johnny "Booger" Byron Fairchild, age 72, of Poplarville, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Poplarville, graduated from Poplarville High School and attended Pearl River Community College where he studied carpentry. Booger was a long time carpenter who enjoyed woodworking, carving and was an avid art lover. He loved his friends dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Booger is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marie McRaney Fairchild; four children and his brothers, Ernie Fairchild and Alan Fairchild.

He is survived by his daughters, Shana Neff (Al); and Dana Jordan (Will); his grandchild Brennon Neff, his grandchild Destiny Jordan, his grandchild Ben Neff and his grandchild Cole Jordan.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39531.
