Ferrell Flynn

Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 am. Rev. Billy Kent Smith will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Flynn was born December 12, 1937 in Crossroads to Jim Flynn and Louise Humphrey Flynn. He was a retired electrician and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a United States Navy veteran. He enjoyed dirt track racing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Randall Flynn; two brothers, Darwin Flynn, Glendall Flynn; one sister, Jimmie Lou Varnado; and one grandson Herschel Flynn.

Family members include his wife of 57 years, Joyce Liles Flynn; three sons, Richard Flynn (Lettie), Ronald Flynn (Sonya), Roger Flynn (Susan); one daughter, Theresa Nelson (Paul); three brothers, Merrel Flynn (Betty), Joe Troy Flynn, Tony Flynn (Iris); three sisters, Sherry Irvine, Vangie Fortenberry (Charles "Dobb"), Alracea Saucier (Kenneth); nine grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren.
