Emelda Joyce Jackson

She is preceded in death by her parents: Ovid and Lucille McNeese; two sisters: Virginia Humphrey and Dell Cooper; and one brother: Elbert McNeese.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years: J.S. Jackson; one daughter: Michelle Vogt (Nahlon); three grandchildren: Lance Vogt (Desiree), Kandra Lubarsky (Michael), and Janaye Mayo (Casey); six great-grandchildren: Lynkin Vogt, Lanxton Vogt, Asher Vogt, Aaron Vogt, Miles Lubarsky, and Reece Mayo; one sister: Ethel "Sally" Perry; one brother: Clarence McNeese (Antoinette) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church (7451 HWY 43, Poplarville, MS 39470). Visitation will be Sunday, June 19, 2022 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
