Carol was born in Kosciusko MS. October 28th 1959, and died September 13th 2022.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, and was baptized by water and fire in 1978.
She loved living in the country, animals and nature and in her better days of health, she'd love flower and vegetable gardening, helping her husband with cattle, chickens, fences and keeping there homestead maintained. Carol had a beautiful voice and loved to sing gospel songs, she sang with J.L. Lewis and his gospel group for years and also sang in the choir at church. She loved beaches and the water and loved swimming in oceans, lakes ponds, creeks or just in her swimming pool.
Carol was born with heart problems. Her mother would carry her on a pillow because of her delicate state. Everyday when her momma woke and saw Carol, she would say, (speaking for Carol) “I'm still here”, in joy that Carol was still alive. Carol was blessed with stregnth and determination to carry on in even the most difficult situations, even with the many trials she endured in life and she still would always offer you a smile. Carol is truly loved and cherished by her family. She was a loving wife that blessed her husband with 43 years of marriage. A wonderful mother with 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Carol was the glue that held the family together even in her passing, She was the one everyone, family and friends could talk to openly, Carolyn was kind and open minded, wouldn’t judge someone by there appearance, even if they were rough around the edges she would accept and befriend them as they were. She never met a stranger. Carol had a Innocent outlook on life with a sensitive discernment of people. she was blessed with this gift by God, and Carol used this to bless her family, loved ones and everyone around her.
She would put others before herself and give of herself for the well being of others. She had friends that lived miles away that she would drive to help them run errands, financially help them out or get them out of a jam throughout the week and sometimes just to talk. This same love and commitment was always 24/7 for her family. She is greatly missed beyond words by her family friends and everyone that knew her. Thank God for his faith and eternal salvation that gives us the hope and joy that one day we will be together with Him and all our loved ones, all tears will be wiped away and we will be in heaven together forever.
