Bo Boyd departed this life into God’s presence on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the age of 42. Bo was born on February 21, 1982 at Pearl River County Hospital and was a life-long resident of Pearl River County. Born with Angelman Syndrome, Bo overcame many challenges and learned to communicate with his family and friends, each in special ways that you could certainly understand. He was a man on strong faith and loved attended church, worship and profess his salvation. He enjoyed long road trips, riding his golf cart, music, and ice cream among many other things. Bo lived his life from holiday to holiday, celebrating one to the next and especially loved Mardi Gras. He was an incredible person and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bo is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rodrick and Mary Jane Head; maternal grandparents, Joe and Betty Boyd and his nephew, Joseph “Popeye” Bo Boyd.
Left to forever cherish his memory are his mother and step-father, Betty and Charles Eugene High; father and step-mother, Joey and Vicki Boyd; brothers, Justin Joe Boyd (Brittany Boyd/ Laura Stilts), Joseph Nicholas Boyd (Mindy West) and Rodrick “Rod” Head (Cassie) and Billy Charles High; sisters, Mary Lucas (Cody), Cheyanne Clark (Christian), Desiree Rollins (Chad), Melody High, Crista High, Chantel High, Crystal High and Amber Sanders. Bo leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 05, 2024 at 4:00 pm at White Funeral Home in Poplarville. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 2:00 pm until the service begins.
