Barbara Williamson Smith

Mrs. Smith was born October 8, 1943 to James and Augusta Carroll Williamson. She was a retired administrative secretary with Pearl River Community College and a faithful member of Ford’s Creek Baptist Church.

Her parents precede her in death; and one sister, Janie Lavigne.

Survivors include her husband of forty nine years, Jimmy Smith of Poplarville, MS; one son, Rafe (Liz) Smith of Poplarville, MS; one daughter, Renee’ (Scott) Morgan of Brandon, MS; four sisters, Joy Patch of Carriere, MS, Linda (Ketty) Spiers of Petal, MS, Brenda (Pete) Johnson of Carriere, MS, Vickie (Rickey) Graham of Poplarville, MS; four grandchildren, Heather Smith, Abby Smith, Karly Morgan, Sarah Morgan; mother-in-law, Lenora Smith of Poplarville, MS; brother-in-law, Tommy of Poplarville, MS; seventeen nieces and nephews; and twenty eight great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Ford’s Creek Baptist Church with interment following in Ford’s Creek Cemetery. Visitation will from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday at White Funeral Home, Poplarville.
