Alice Louise Watkins Warriner

Alice Louise Watkins Warriner, age 94, of Poplarville, Mississippi, departed this life into God's presence on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She was a world renowned artist. Alice was talented in all she did: her quilting, making of silk roses, ceramics, sewing dresses and creating paintings. Alice was always up for an adventure and absolutely loved life! She was part of the Jubilee Quilt Guild and an avid Bible teacher, who loved the Lord and her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert A. Warriner, II; her parents Eben and Alice Watkins; one brother Eben Tarver Watkins; and son Dr. Robert A. Warriner, III.

Alice leaves to forever cherish her memory, her daughter, Judith Warriner; her second son, Mark Warriner (wife Trudy); daughter-in-law Karen Warriner; two grandchildren, Amy Lemire (husband Daniel) and Lesley

Davies (husband Denton); four great granddaughters: Emma, Anna, Amelia, and Eleanor; her best friend, Ramona Barnes; and many other dear friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Alice's funeral service on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Springhill Baptist Church, 75 Powell Road, Lumberton, MS. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial to

follow in the church cemetery.
