Opaline Marie Graham, age 84, died Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. She was a member of the Sand Springs Community Church and a homemaker. She spent her entire life in the Hurricane Community. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Mother-n-law, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend. She was a great Christian who welcomed everyone in her home.
Services will be at 11 AM on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Rev. Cecil Russell officiating; burial will follow in the Sand Springs Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter: Ann Hardeman (Carl) of Collierville, TN; a brother: Henry Hayes (Ann) of Olive Branch, MS; two grandchildren: Lisa Hardeman Shive (Scotty) and Michael Hardeman (Micki); and four great-grandchildren: Kristen Shive, Karli Hardeman, Courtney Shive and Corey Hardeman; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents: James Carl Hayse and Eula Vaughn Hayse; her husband: James Ralph Graham and a brother: Bobby Hayse.
Pallbearers will be: Terry Graham, Gary Leach, Tranny Montgomery, Terry Steele and Les Miller.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 PM Sunday and from 10 to 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.
