Norma Dean Sullivan

Norma Dean Sullivan, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Pontotoc Health and Rehab. She was born on June 11, 1938 to Cecil Kidd Sullivan and Lodean Herring Sullivan. Norma graduated from Hurricane High School in 1956. She was a member of West Heights Baptist Church. Norma retired from Smith and Nephew (Comfort Care) after many years. She enjoyed traveling, reading, quilting, needlework, working in her yard and flowers and spending time with her family.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hamilton officiating; burial will follow in the Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.

Survivors include her two brothers, Glen Sullivan (Cheryl) and Kenny Sullivan (Mary); five nieces and nephews, Becki Cummings (Scott), Brad Sullivan, Kim Bedford, Shea Sullivan (Holley), Wendi Long (Jody); ten great-nieces and nephews: Meaghan Reed (Tyler), Blake Sullivan (Leah), Hayden Cummings (Heather), Brady Sullivan (Chloe), Anna Brooke Sullivan, Macy Sullivan, Anderson Long, Cooper Sullivan, Thomas Long and Sullivan Long; three great-great nieces and nephew: Carson Reed, Haisley Cummings and Ryleigh Kayte Reed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Brad Sullivan, Blake Sullivan, Brady Sullivan, Scott Cummings, Hayden Cummings, Shea Sullivan, Jody Long, Anderson Long, Thomas Long, Tyler Reed and Greg Herring.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
