Michael Scott Walls

Michael Scott Walls, age 59, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was a member of the Church of Holy Communion in Memphis. He graduated from South Pontotoc High School and obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. He was an avid Ole Miss Sports fan and was a member of the “First Down Club”. He enjoyed kickboxing and watching MMA fighting.

Services will be at 3:00 PM Monday, June 6, 2016 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sandy Webb officiating; burial will follow in the Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his mother: Dorothy Jean Grisham Walls, two sisters: Patti Williams and husband (Mitch) and Jacque Moore; two nieces: Jean Ann Austin and April Henderson; two nephews: Trey Aron and Marcus Williams; and four great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father: W. T. Walls and a brother: Doug Walls.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
