Macie Elaine Atkinson

She was a senior at Pontotoc High School. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her friends.

Services will be at 2 PM Thursday, December 5, 2013 at West Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Kerry Nelson and Dr. Forrest Sheffield officiating; burial will follow in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her parents: Kristy Payne and Robbie of Pontotoc, MS and Scott Atkinson and Leanne of Winfield, AL; her sister: Kayla Lynn Atkinson of Pontotoc, MS; three step-sisters: April Hoffman, Brittney Payne and Shelby Payne; one step-brother: Josh Logan; grandparents: Brenda Moore and Randall, Randall Hawkins, Clint and Chris Atkinson and David and Ann Payne; two aunts: Mandi Frye and Christy Franklin, one uncle: Derek Hawkins and a host of friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Lola Mae Hawkins and Bobby Jack and her special friend: Tristan Stafford.

Pallbearers will be: Kyle White, Evan Akers, Stephen Stalnaker , Nathan Aron, Ryan Hanlon, and Hunter Hawkins.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
