Frankie Lee Reeder

Frankie Lee Reeder, age 88, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born February 21, 1927 to Frank Clayton and Jessie Vaughn Clayton. She married Louis Wayne Reeder and they made their home in the Center Hill Community. She was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and cooking for her family.

Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Rev. Mitchell Hall and Rev. J.W. Owen officiating; burial will follow in the Cherry Creek Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her two sons: Ricky Reeder and friend, Teresa and Barry Reeder and wife Reta, all of Pontotoc, MS; one sister: Jenette Treadaway of New Albany, MS; one brother: Billy Clatyon of Southaven, MS; eight grandchildren: Ronnie Bramlitt, Tim Reeder and wife Andi, Shawn Reeder and wife Wendy, Holly Bridgman, Tonya Osborn and husband Michael, Brittany Reeder, Chad Reeder and wife Kayla, and Kyle Reeder and wife Rhianna; and twelve great-grandchildren: Lee Bramlitt, Carol Bramlitt, Jesse Reeder, Austin Reeder, Jake Reeder, Bryce Reeder, Kinsley Bridgman, Haley Dillard, Emma Osborn, Quinton Reeder, Harper Reeder and Ames Reeder; and she was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great-great grandchild due this month.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter: Brenda Carolyn Hodges; a son: Jerry Wayne Reeder; four sisters: Eveline Bailey, Annie Lois Fitzgerald, Katherine Benjamin and Mildred Clayton; and three brothers: Troyce Clayton, Ottis Clayton and Floyd Clayton.

Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Bramlitt, Tim Reeder, Shawn Reeder, Chad Reeder, Kyle Reeder and Michael Osborn.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 PM Tuesday and from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
