Irwin, you kept the promise you made to each other that you would always take care of each other and never let the person you love leave home.  We will always miss Bill in your company, you two were a pair beyond compare!  
Bill had whit, charm, warmth, humor, and love, a partner and spouse who was a treasure.  We are so very sad for your loss.

Dear Irwin,
I am heartbroken reading the news about Bill's passing!  I will be forever grateful to him for being the best mentor I could imagine!  When I started teaching in Saugerties, Bill took me under his wing and helped me get my start!  I loved our meetings together, hearing about all of your fabulous trips to the opera and especially loved the fact that our friendship grew beyond school and work!  Tom and I were so happy that you could attend our wedding and be a part of our lives!
