William J. Bazos. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts. Graduated from Classical High School. Went on to complete his college studies at American International University. He served in the military and he played minor league baseball. He met the love of his life, Joann Androutsopoulos where he eloped in Daytona Beach Florida and married in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church was married 56 years. He was active in the early years at the Greek Orthodox Church of Annunciation where he served as treasurer and vice president. Then, was active in helping the church youth organization as well as managing the church softball team for several years. Bill was an avid sports fan. He was a member of the Florida ASA Umpire organization for many years. He was an active volunteer in the 2004 Athens Olympics. Worked at the City of Miami Orange Bowl then a Miami Dolphins Season ticket holder and fan club member. He was Dolfan UK's liaison and blogger for their website. He was a social butterfly and making sure everyone had a great time. William is survived by his wife Joann, daughter Georgia, son George, granddaughter Barbara, brother Nicholas, nephews, John, Michael, Peter, Nick, Jr., & niece Amy. Also survived by Brother-in-law Thomas & Anna Andrews in Greece.
