He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy Anna Cook, his daughter Sandra Anna (Duane) Francis, granddaughters Kaitlyn Anna and Bailey Ann Francis, Sister Beverly (Terrance) Yaddaw, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Kristy Lynn Cook.
Ward grew up in Clinton, New York and spent his summers in the 1000 Islands where he wished to retire.
He served two tours during the Vietnam War in the Army Aviation as an E5.
He was a Mason and obtained his 32nd Degree.
Ward and Nancy owned and operated Dixie Trailer Supply in Oakland Park Florida for over 40 years.

Visitation from 2:00-3:00 pm, with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 pm.
