DeAngelis, Virginia, 89, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. She was born in Raggio - Calabria, Italy on March 8, 1921 to Sebastian & Esterina Luca and resided in Paterson, NJ prior to moving to South Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1983. Virginia is survived by her loving children, Joseph DeAngelis, Angela (Clyde Swoger) De Angelis and Sebastian DeAngelis; grandchildren, Alex DeAngelis and Sergio DeAngelis; and brothers, Dominic (Alice) Luca and Nicholas (Elaine) Luca. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. Henry Catholic Church in Pompano Beach. Entombment will follow in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, North Lauderdale, FL.
