Vincent G Schettino

Sgt. Vincent George Schettino Jr passed away on April 17th, 2014 after a long courageous battle with brain cancer at the age of 57. Vinny (Jimmy) was originally from Tewksbury, Mass and graduated from Tewksbury High School, class of 1974. He proudly served for many years on the Tewksbury Auxiliary Police Force. He relocated to Fort Lauderdale Florida in the early 80's, and eventually settled in Parkland Florida with his beautiful wife Lisa. They had three amazing children, however their first son Justin passed away at the age of 14 months old.

Vinny leaves behind his wife Lisa and their two beautiful children, Madison 7yrs old, and Dylan 6yrs old along with his mother Marie Schettino and sister Gail Budzyna (Schettino). He also leaves behind his his sister-in-law's Lori Gagnon, her husband Brian, Jyll Brink, and Sandy Meyers, mother-in-law.

Vinny served with pride and dignity on the Broward County Sheriff's Department for 25 years, where he acquired so many beautiful friendships. Vinny also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, Aunts & Uncles. Love you forever, miss you always.
