Born in Corato, Italy, on February 10, 1944, Vinny immigrated to the United States as a young boy, settling in Suffern, New York, where he spent much of his formative years.
A proud and passionate entrepreneur, Vinny spent his career in the restaurant industry, where his strong work ethic and attention to detail shaped every part of his life. He took pride in everything he built and expected the same dedication from those around him.
On July 29, 1971, Vinny married the love of his life, Teresa Ferrara. Together, they built a family rooted in tradition, hard work, and deep love.
Vinny is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Teresa, and their three children: Vincent Ferrara of Plantation, FL; Tony Ferrara and his wife Vanessa of Coconut Creek, FL; and Rosanne Tornatore and her husband Jason of Lighthouse Point, FL. He was a proud Nonno to five grandchildren: Jeanna, Sofia, Roman, AJ, and Brianna, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his brother, Louis Ferrara of New York.
Vinny had a deep love for oldies music, records, and books. He found comfort in the classics and took great pride in passing down stories and traditions. He will be remembered for his firm guidance, strong opinions, and unwavering commitment to his family.
